Live Music Archive -- Free Concert Downloads

What has been happening with me lately? Well, among other things, I’ve been eagerly downloading “live” songs from the vast “Live Music Archive” portion of the absolutely enormous “Internet Archive.” This has to be the coolest website found either west of the sun or east of the moon! Here is a place where, for example, one can download 129 entire live concerts by Martin Sexton; or 105 entire live concerts by Jack Johnson; or 2,890 entire live concerts by the Grateful Dead; and the list goes on, and on, and on….

They have available, for free downloading, over 20,000 live concerts by hundreds and hundreds of bands. It seems that in every case, the user may download any individual song from a given concert, or several songs, or the entire concert. Plus, in most cases, there is a variety of (different quality) digital formats in which to download each song. I swear that this incredible site is highly addictive, so the user should beware! Begin with the list of bands which have allowed their concerts to be offered on this site, by clicking on the following link, or pasting the address into your browser.

In case you were wondering why I've not been posting lately--well, I've been busy downloading. It is addictive! I seem to be having trouble getting some of my downloads to play. I think I need a newer computer... Hmmm.
