Shame! ...Shame! ...Shame!

Stupid, Ignorant, Moronic, Backwards, Brain-Dead Jackasses Launch an Absurd, Hurtful, Racist, Counter-Productive, All-Out Attack Against the Right to Freedom of Speech in the USA in General, and Don Imus in Particular.

What the very WORST elements of the most extremely right-wing, ultra-conservative "Christian-Right" have never been able to accomplish, the "Dimwitted Duo" of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have handed to them on a platter! That is, they have given an enormous victory to those who would seek to curtail, and limit, and eviscerate the Bill of Rights and the Civil Liberties of all Americans, everywhere!

The incredibly sad part is that, generally speaking, I used to totally love and admire these two guys. In fact, they were my first choice for President during years when, respectively, they each campaigned for the Democratic nomination. But all I can say this week is, "Shame, shame, shame... on the both of you!"

Their almost insanely STUPID, knee-jerk attacks on Don Imus these past few days have cast huge shadows of doubt over their judgment and intelligence. They have become the pathetic SHAME of black, brown, yellow, red, white, blue, green, purple, pink, orange, chartreuse, mauve, and taupe people everywhere!

Both of these clowns should be stripped of everything they own and possess, and sent out into the wilderness to wander there, naked, for the rest of their headline-grabbing, self-aggrandizing lives!

If the "evil hate-crime" (as these two boneheads are trying to "define" it) committed by Imus had been even 1/10 as vile as they (and much of the rest of the clueless media) are making it out to have been, then maybe they would have a legitimate cause. But, Good Grief! Give us a break! How ridiculously absurd is the charge that some motor-mouthed radio jock having stupidly uttered the phrase, "nappy-headed hos," in reference to some members of a team of aggressive, sweaty, college-level, female athletes, was an unforgivable crime of "racism" and "sexism"?

PLEASE! Have just the tinniest, smallest, wee bit of perspective here! Has no one in the USA ever been in "the halls" of any American school, or played on a sports team, or been in the locker room of ANY sports team, anywhere in the world? Does ANYONE honestly believe that the players, themselves, have not (in general) used FAR WORSE language in referring to each other and/or to their opponents? Even the WOMEN players?

If anyone claims to believe such absurd tripe, I have ten major bridges I want to sell them! And if anyone intimates that NOT ONE of the female players on the Rutgers University (of New Jersey) Women's basketball team has ever used similarly "offensive" (or far worse) language, herself, such a person is simply flat-out LYING!

Indeed, try giving some thought to the effects this dumb-ass, totally hypocritical (and actually "racist") attack by the "Dimwitted Duo" will have on Civil Liberties and the Rights to Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press in the USA! After all, the incredible HYPOCRISY of this attack can be perceived in the fact that it has been leveled against a Caucasian man for saying something that would have been (even had it been vastly worse) completely ignored and overlooked if only it had been uttered by a black man or a black woman!
