I don't think I know any of these films for certain. I have some guesses... but I thought perhaps working together we might be able to guess. The answers are up at the website for this puzzle but I haven't looked yet.
I think the first one could be The King and I....

Yes, the first photo looks quite like "The King and I," but I've never seen "Anna and The King," so I don't know if they did that same bit as well.
The photo with the cop is from "National Lampoon's Vacation," I believe.
As for the other six photos, I have no idea, really. I want to say the shot with the red beret is from Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America," but I doubt that is correct.
But don't these photos come in a larger size than what you are posting here? Is this the biggest they are on the the original website? They seem way too small to be truly useful for such a game.
On the original site they seem a tad bit larger but really only a fraction so.... sorry. I think the idea is you know it or you don't.
And I think YOU are on to something with your guesses.
Let's say The King and I (I HAVE seen Anna and the King but something tells me to go with the first instinct)
I think you are right with National Lampoon's Vacation (I thought that too) And let's just guess Coming to America. (why not?)
I thought the suit on the bottom reminded me of a space suit or a uniform of some sort. Is it from an Alien type movie?
The one reminds me of those Air Bud movies with a dog that plays sports and wears clothes.
Something about the clothes in the one with the knife reminds me of John Cusack. Like I've seen that outfit before... but why the knife?
I have no clue on the floating balls one.
And the black jacket one reminds me of something sci fi.... cold, fashionable, clean... something like Gattaca?

What should we guess for the question marks?
That is the big problem here. I'm almost sure that "Coming To America" is wrong for that one photo. And I have no clue on the other five. "Scream 2"? "Air Bud"? "Pretty Woman"? "Blue Hawaii"? and "Space Balls-- The Movie"?
