Invisible Film Fun

Each of these photos is a scene from a film with the actors erased. Based on the other clues in the photo: posture, clothing, setting... we are to name the film the "invisible" is from. Each week a new puzzle like this is displayed on this site. When a new puzzle is displayed, the answers from the previous one are posted. I usually do terribly on this... but this particular week, I got these six RIGHT! (three I knew... three I guessed on) Without checking the site for the answers.... can you guess these films?

This is a fun concept-- and it's cool how they seem to be able to digitally "erase" the actors in such a way that it appears you can actually see what was behind their bodies in the movie still; something that I'd imagine is impossible to do without using data from OTHER stills before or after the actors stood in those exact spots on the screen.

However, it strikes me as virtually impossible to figure out the answers to what the films are unless one has seen the films in question, or (at least) has seen whole images of the given still that's being used, before now.

I've only seen three of these six films; one of the other three, I know about only very slightly; another of that other three, I'm only aware of in the sense that I think I once read it's title, in passing, while looking at a list of movies made by it's main star; and the final one in that second group of three, I've never heard of in any way, whatsoever.

So, my only hope for doing at all well in this game is that the people who create it will occasionally select six films that I've actually seen! Since I've seen literally thousands of movies, released during the period from 1920 to 2006, that should not be too improbable an occurance.

I will keep my fingers crossed that they stay away from those films which bombed or were so marginal that they never even went straight to video!

Congratulations to you for getting all six of the films in this group correct! That seems like a truly noteworthy achievement with this game!
